homeless to harvard: liz murray
I really enjoyed the movie "Homeless to Harvard". It made me appreciate what I had more considering that the main character, Elizabeth was eating out of the trashcan, had no where to sleep, and both of her parents were on drugs. my favorite part of the movie was when Liz decided that she wanted to stop living the homeless life and try to get in to school. She eventually received a scholarship from "New York Times" to go to Harvard. She was so happy because of this achievement and she chased after her goals and not to mention that she finished high school in only two years. She wanted to be different than her mom, dad , and grandmother and actually go out and do something with her life. And she did, with hard work and dedication, you can accomplish your goals.

I agree, it is so amazing how far you can go with some hard work and determination.
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely one of the most inspirational movies I have seen.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that we should be grateful for what we have. We had much more to offer rather than her. But she decided that no one can change her decisions on who and what she wants to be.
